I was staying down in the Crystal City area of DC and stumbled across this place on my way to Walgreens. The reviews on yelp were pretty good and Urbanspoon pretty much concurred. When walking into this place you maybe a little intimidated with all the cabbies circling the area and not knowing too much about this type of cuisine. But there was such a large mix of customers in the restaurant putting me at ease knowing I was not the only one that seemed out of place.

As I waited in line for about 10 mins it gave me time to research what was good here. The Internet and the four people in front of me seem to all agree the boneless chicken kabob was the go to item dish. For about $11 after taxes you get a skewer of boneless chicken, a side spinach dish, seasoned rice, and a hand made bread similar to Indian naan. With this much food I guess it worth it for the ten min line and another 25 mins for the food.

The chicken was definitely the best out all of the items. It had a nice char-coaled BBQ flavor to it. I also grabbed some of the creamy green sauce was also really good. It reminded me of of the green sauce that Peruvian restaurants give you…kind of a cilantro-ish flavor. The spinach came with a little bit of heat to it. It was not that spicy, like a 2 out of 5 stars but definitely surprised me not know it had that heat to it.
